Legendary by Stephanie Garber | I Couldn’t Put It Down!

It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a fantasy novel and read it in just one single day, but it happened with Legendary. This book was just impossible to put down! I’d been looking forward to this sequel since I finished the Dutch edition of Caraval before the English one even came out, and it did not disappoint. Here’s my review!

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | I Put This Off For Way Too Long!

There’s no other book like Illuminae. I mean that in many different ways because I don’t think there’s any book I put off reading for so long. At one point, it was on my TBR. I’ve held multiple editions in my hands at multiple bookshops, I removed it from my TBR… Then my best friend picked it up and loved it so that personal recommendation must’ve done it for me! I picked it up at my favourite bookshop and it. blew. my. mind. Holy plot twists, Batman! I’m not really into sci-fi, but this was such a great book!

The Warrior Queen by Emily R. King | I Was Hoping For More

Helloooo, gorgeous cover! And Happy Book Birthday to you! Emily R. King’s Hundredth Queen series is officially coming to an end today with the release of The Warrior Queen. I got to review the first three books in the series on my blog and I’m so happy I get to review the fourth as well. It’s like finishing a series for myself! Also, I just have to say this cover is definitely my favourite of them all. Curious about my review? Keep on reading!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo | Most Spectaculair Heist Ever!?

A few months ago, I hadn’t read a single Leigh Bardugo book. Now I’ve finished all of them. How crazy is that?! I’m in love with the world of the Grisha. This review will probably be a little influenced by Crooked Kingdom, as I continued with that one straight away before I even took the time to finish writing this review. My opinion on both books are the same, though; they’re absolutely incredible. As always, my review is spoiler free. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Furyborn by Claire Legrand | A Tale of Two Queens

Happiest book birthday to Furyborn by Claire Legrand! I got an advance reader copy in a Fairyloot box this past November and I started reading it very soon after I got it. So by now, almost half a year will have passed since I read it (which is crazy!) but my opinion stays the same: I absolutely love this book! I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for Furyborn’s release so I can finally fangirl about it without spoiling it! Ahhh, it’s about time I can share this review with you! Of course, it’s spoiler free (and very, very long…)

Geekerella by Ashley Poston | A Geeky Cinderella Story!

The US paperback of Geekerella with a brand new cover comes out TODAY, and I got the chance to read an ARC that included some bonus content! As you might know, Geekerella is one of my all-time favourite books. I listened to the audiobook twice since I listened to it the first time back in October last year and now I’ve “read” it three times total. I will never get bored with this book. It’s wonderfully geeky, quite romantic and beyond cute. Anyway, before I gush too much before we’re even into the review, let’s just get on with it!

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody | Like an Urban Caraval in The Best Way

I have no words. Like, I’ve been staring at my screen for five minutes just regretting writing my review before writing an intro because now I’m almost ready to publish this except I’m speechless and what do I say?! I love Ace of Shades so incredibly much. It’s like my no. 1 favourite book at the moment and I’m obsessed with this city, the character and the entire vibe of this book. It’s been a really long time since I’ve felt so invested in a book. It’s also been a long time since I’ve put so much effort into a review. I just wanted to do this book justice, and I…

Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi | Book Club Discussion

A little while ago, I signed up to join Hebban’s Epic Reads (online) Book Club for Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi. The book wasn’t a “priority” for me at the time, but I simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity because I’d read the “original” Shatter Me trilogy in only three days a few years ago and I loved it so much! Imagine my surprise when I was chosen as a participant and got the book sent to me! I decided to give you guys a little summary of my part in the book club, spoiler-free, of course!

Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo | Another Case of “Why Didn’t I Read This Sooner?!”

The perk of getting a trilogy box set is that you can continue reading sequels right away! I recently read (and reviewed) Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo, so obviously, it’s now time for Siege & Storm. I always really struggle writing reviews for sequels (especially when they’re second books in trilogies. Oh my goodness.) but I think I managed! Anyway, here are my thoughts on the book!
