Ace of Shades Blog Tour | 10 Touristy Things to do in the City of New Reynes + GIVEAWAY!

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody releases tomorrow! I am just SO excited about this book (as you could’ve read in my Waiting on Wednesday post.) It’s also my first preorder of the year and I already cannot wait for it to be delivered. I’m even more excited about being on the blog tour! I love lists, and I’m so happy Amanda took some time to make a list of ten touristy things to do in New Reynes, or: the City of Sin. Here’s the list!

The heroine, Enne Salta, arrives in New Reynes equipped with merely a tourist guidebook. I thought it might be fun to cite a list of tourist attractions. And let’s be honest, I would much rather be a tourist in New Reynes than a local!

1. Gamble at one of the city’s two most famous casinos: St. Morse or Luckluster
2. Treat yourself to a box of Tiggy’s famous absinthe-flavored saltwater taffy
3. Splurge on a shopping spree at Kiplings Department Store
4. Kiss the street sign on Virtue Street
5. Tour historical sites, such as Liberty Square or Revolution Bridge
6. Try one of the city’s famous cocktails: a Gambler’s Ruin, a Snake Eyes, or a Walk of Shame
7. Attempt to spot a famous celebrity or heiress on Guillory Street
8. During the summertime, spend a day lounging on the beach
9.Attend a cabaret or variety show in the North Side
10. Commit at least one crime—it’s part of the experience

About Ace of Shades

Welcome to the City of Sin, where casino families reign, gangs infest the streets…and secrets hide in every shadow

Enne Salta was raised as a proper young lady, and no lady would willingly visit New Reynes, the so-called City of Sin. But when her mother goes missing, Enne must leave her finishing school—and her reputation—behind to follow her mother’s trail to the city where no one survives uncorrupted.

Frightened and alone, Enne has only one lead: the name Levi Glaisyer. Unfortunately, Levi is not the gentleman she expected—he’s a street lord and con man. Levi is also only one payment away from cleaning up a rapidly unraveling investment scam, so he doesn’t have time to investigate a woman leading a dangerous double life. Enne’s offer of compensation, however, could be the solution to all his problems.

Their search for clues leads them through glamorous casinos, illicit cabarets and into the clutches of a ruthless Mafia donna. As Enne unearths an impossible secret about her past, Levi’s enemies catch up to them, ensnaring him in a vicious execution game where the players always lose. To save him, Enne will need to surrender herself to the city…

And she’ll need to play.
