Will April be the month I finally get through all the unread books on my shelf?! I think I just might! I do have some Kindle books on my iPad that I haven’t included in my TBR, but I think I might actually be able to pick those up as well – since I’ve been flying through books lately. Also, they’re just the kind of books you naturally go through without any effort. I’m so excited! anyway, here’s my April TBR.
Ruin & Rising by Leigh Bardugo
I am just SO EXCITED to see how the Shadow & Bone trilogy will end! Like… Omg!? I’m loving the Grisha books so much and I can’t believe how quickly I flew through all the books. I’m almost finished with Crooked Kingdom so when I’ve finished both of them, I’ll only have The Language of Thorns left to read! How crazy is that, really?
The White Rose by Amy Ewing
The White Rose has been on my shelf for a while now and it’s about time I pick it up! My mom got the Dutch edition a while back because I recommended she read The Jewel (which she still hasn’t) but then she got The White Rose so we could both read it and it’s that like mom goals?! Anyway, I don’t remember that much from The Jewel so I’ll probably skim through that one before I start this, but I’m excited!
The Queen’s Rising by Rebeca Ross
Originally, I wrote here about taking a little break from audiobooks. Since January, I’ve been listening to audiobooks constantly because of Audible. I really love audiobooks, but I’d been struggling through Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo and I felt like maybe I was getting into a slump. Then I got an offer from Storytel to get one month for €0,99 and obviously I couldn’t pass it up! I started listening to the final bit of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows (I switched from reading to listening) and I actually really enjoy it! Since I’ll probably only have Storytel for a month (unless I decide to continue my membership), I feel like I have to pick up some of their audiobooks. I actually did a Waiting on Wednesday on The Queen’s Rising and I’m so excited to pick it up!
PS. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
I loved To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before when I listened to it last year and when I found the Dutch edition of PS. I Still Love You on sale a while ago, I couldn’t resist buying it! I feel like it’s one of those fluffy contemporaries you just kind of go through in a day, so that’s what I plan on doing during one of my days off this month. Also, have you heard the news that Netflix has picked up the To All The Boys movie!? I’m not sure when it’s coming out, but I’ve already added it to my list on Netflix!
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
The cover of Darkdawn popped up on my Twitter feed a few days and holy moly, I’m obsessed?! Nevernight has been on my TBR for a while and there’s a few. times I almost started listening to the audiobook, but then I didn’t. I’ve also held a paperback copy in my hand in my favourite bookshop and then I put it back down, simply because I can’t decide whether or not it’s “for me.” The audiobook does sound really, really interesting, though! I’ve finally decided to pick it up!
Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
I’m so excited about this book that I’ve actually preordered it! It’s coming out on April 10th but I won’t be getting it until around the 26th. I’m hoping it’ll actually be on time (or a bit earlier) so I can still read it this month instead of the next, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see! Also, I’m part of the blog tour and it’s so exciting! If you’re interested in this book, I suggest you keep an eye out for my post!
Before I’m able to get into all of these, I’ll have to finish my current reads (Crooked Kingdom and HP & the Deathly Hallows) first, but I have a few days off and I’m planning on reading most of the time!
What’s on your April TBR?
