Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Buy With a Fully Loaded Gift Card

A fully loaded gift card for books is every bookworm's dream, right? Well, it is mine! Here are ten books/series I'd buy with if I had one!The lovely people at The Broke and the Bookish came up with another fun topic for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! There are lots of books that I still want on my bookshelf. Either because I’ve read them as ebook, listening to them as audiobook or simply because they’re still on my TBR! I’m cheating a bit this week since I’m there’s full series/trilogies on my list as well, hehe! Here’s 10 books/series I’d buy if someone handed me a fully loaded gift card today!

Ten Books You’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed You A Fully Loaded Gift Card

1. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

I’ve read the first three books as ebook and I listened to the last two audiobooks. I love the series so much I want them as hardcovers for on my bookshelf! Including the Happily Ever After bindup, because I only read half of the novellas, and I think they’d look amazing on my shelf.

2. Harry Potter books 4 to 7

I’ve got the first three books on my shelf, but I want to continue/finish this series! I keep buying one at a time, but it would be lovely to be able to just binge them all at once.

3.  House of Night Series by P.C. & Kristin Cast

I own the first book of this series and read a whole bunch of the series as ebooks years ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t care all that much about reading back then… I have no clue which ones I’ve read and which ones I haven’t. The series is just so big! There’s also these stunning new colourful editions, and I want to read them all!

4. Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkin

I recently read this trilogy on Scribd (ebook) and it’s one of my favourites! I need these on my bookshelf ASAP! Problem is, though, that usually when I read an ebook and say I’ll get a physical copy, that doesn’t happen…

5. Paranormalcy Trilogy by Kierstin White

Another one of those “read as ebooks but never actually purchased as physical copies!” I remember reading this last year and being crazy about them! I loved it so much, the hardcovers would look absolutely stunning and it’s definitely worth the reread!

6. Shatter Me Series/Trilogy by Tahereh Mafi

In Dutch it’s called Touching Juliette, which sounds better, but anyway. This trilogy/series was fantastic. I read them already (as ebooks, again) and loved them! Now I really want to read them and put the hardcovers on my shelf. Does anyone see my obsession with hardcovers here? No? Okay, good.

7. The Legend of Zelda Mangas by Akira Himekawa

I have the first two mangas of the Legend of Zelda, but I never got the third one, Majora’s Mask. During my, what I’d like to call “Zelda period,” I wanted them all, but the comic book shop I went to didn’t have them, and I never went back to see if they had it or ordered it online. I still really want to read them, though! But since I finish these so quickly, I don’t want to spend my money on it! That sounds kinda weird maybe, but I’ rather spend my money on a book that takes me more than two hours to finish, hehe!

8. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

I saw the hardcover this book in my favourite bookshop one day and I was just like “Woah! I need this!” and so it ended up on my TBR. Since it’s a hardcover, though, I kind of never get it! I’m the “Rather two paperbacks then one hardcover” kind of person.

9. Ruined by Amie Tintera

This book seems so interesting, but again, it’s hardcover-only (for now). Like Illimuae, it’s one I put off buying all the time! A fully loaded gift card would be really helpful in this case!

10. The Iron Queen & The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

I’ve read the first two Iron Fey books, and I don’t really feel like spending my money on these last two book! I’m kind of meh about the series at this point, but I always want to finish the series I start! Ahh, the struggle!

For those of you who are wondering where my most anticipated releases for 2016 are on this list, I’ve preordered them all! That basically means I’ve already bought them and I don’t need a gift card for those, hahah!

Also, let’s be real here, if I had a fully loaded gift card, I’d take my mom‘s massive bright pink suitcase, tell her to drive me to my favourite bookshop in Rotterdam, and fill the whole thing with any interesting book I could find! Because I mean, who could only get 10 books with a fully loaded gift card?! Not me!

What would you get if I handed you a fully loaded gift card today?
