    Major Blog (& Life) Update!

Hey y’all! Welcome to my new blog; Damn Mysterious! So much happened over the past couple of months, including the (rather obvious) name and domain change! I haven’t been very present in the book community as of late. It wasn’t just my blog that was “dead”, my socials were, too. Anyway, I have a lot to tell you, so let’s just dive right in.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before | Cutest Rom-Com EVER!?

Oh, my goodness. My heart is SO full of happiness right now. You’re all probably aware of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movie by now, and let me tell you this: it deserves ALL the hype it gets. I’m not really a rom-com person, and I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved it so much more than I thought it would. I’ve actually lost count of how many times I’ve watched this movie. It could be five times, could be ten… WHO KNOWS?! I wouldn’t call this post a review exactly, but here are my thoughts.

Legendary by Stephanie Garber | I Couldn’t Put It Down!

It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a fantasy novel and read it in just one single day, but it happened with Legendary. This book was just impossible to put down! I’d been looking forward to this sequel since I finished the Dutch edition of Caraval before the English one even came out, and it did not disappoint. Here’s my review!

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | I Put This Off For Way Too Long!

There’s no other book like Illuminae. I mean that in many different ways because I don’t think there’s any book I put off reading for so long. At one point, it was on my TBR. I’ve held multiple editions in my hands at multiple bookshops, I removed it from┬ámy TBR… Then my best friend picked it up and loved it so that personal recommendation must’ve done it for me! I picked it up at my favourite bookshop and it. blew. my. mind. Holy plot twists, Batman! I’m not really into sci-fi, but this was such a great book!

My Goodreads Reading Challenge – Will I Reach My Goal?!

At the beginning of this year, I set my Goodreads Reading Challenge to 75 books. The number is pretty much right in the middle of my two previous challenges, and it felt right. Then I slipped from one reading slump into the other and even my summer holiday wasn’t able to help me catch up. Since I’m about to go back to college, and my reading time will be much less, I’ve decided to have a good look at my reading; Will I be able to reach my goal?
